Foothills Regional High School -

The Accelerated Career Diploma offers Foothills students the opportunity to earn their high school diploma through an accelerated nine-course pathway. Once those courses are complete, students transition into a Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) partner program to begin earning college credentials in a high-demand career field.

What makes this pathway unique is that Foothills support continues every step of the way. Students remain connected to their mentors and have access to Foothills’ student support services while completing their college coursework, ensuring they have the guidance and encouragement needed to succeed.

This flexible, step-by-step pathway helps motivated students graduate sooner, gain confidence, and build a foundation for long-term success in the workplace or in continued training.

Students in the Accelerated Career Diploma program:

1. Complete only nine required high school courses through Foothills to earn their diploma.

2. Enroll in a partner technical college program to begin earning certificates in a career pathway of their choice.

3. Continue receiving Foothills support, including mentorship, academic help, and guidance, while completing college coursework.

4. Graduate ready to work, continue their education, or both.

• Continue their education at a technical college after graduation
